Jennifer and JD’s Hollywood Red Carpet themed wedding was the first wedding of this season. This theme was a fresh idea, and we were very excited to photograph all of the details from start to finish. Some of the details I loved were the dramatic playbills as wedding programs, the “movie posters” through the reception (starring Jennifer and JD), the movie star Photo Booth, and the popcorn tub containers for the guest favors.
As many of you know, I recently had a baby, so I was a little nervous about getting back into the swing of things. I brought an extra photographer (yes there were THREE of us) to ensure we didn’t miss a thing, since I was still in the thick of sleep deprivation and adjusting to life as the mother of a newborn. In addition to Melissa Timberlake (my regular second shooter), Connie Grant came along to round out the photography team for this wedding.
